Exodus 32:1
The Israelites seem to have lost their understanding of God. Remember all the incredible things God did for them? He rescued them from slavery in Egypt, led them through the Red Sea, provided them with manna and water, and even won battles for them. God loves His people and wants them to live together happily. He gave them the Ten Commandments to guide them. However, the Israelites kept forgetting God's goodness and complaining. This made them turn to false gods, like the golden calf they made. This angered God because these idols couldn't protect or provide for them. We mustn't forget God's kindness to us either. Take a moment to recall three good things God has done or said to you. It'll bring happiness.
