Acts 15:8-9
In today’s story, Paul and Barnabas had a big argument with some other believers about whether new friends of Jesus had to follow old rules. They traveled far to discuss this with the church leaders to make sure everyone understood that faith in Jesus, not following rules, makes us right with God. This decision helped everyone understand that God’s love is for all, no matter where they come from or what they know about the rules. It’s important to remember that God loves us because of Jesus, not because of anything we do. How do you show your love for God?
