2 Chronicles 33:10
"King Manasseh learns the hard way that choices have consequences. Despite his father, King Hezekiah's good choices, Manasseh opts for evil, rebuilding idol worship sites and introducing false gods. His bad choices lead to severe consequences—captivity in Babylon. In Babylon, Manasseh regrets and seeks forgiveness from God, who, despite his terrible choices, forgives out of love and kindness. Manasseh changes, making good choices, but the consequences of his earlier actions linger."
