Balaam’s Prophecy

Balaam’s Prophecy

In our last story, we learned how Balak sent Balaam to go curse Israel, and the Lord spoke through his donkey to not curse his people yet he persisted. In this story, we learn about how Balaam is still unable to curse the Israelites and gives a word about one coming from out of Israel, as inspired by the book of Numbers.

Numbers 23:19
Oh my, did God make His point clear or what? Balaam spoke blessings instead of curses, showing that Israel's God was real and loved His people. Balaam met King Balak, who wanted to curse Israel. Balaam couldn't curse what God blessed. King Balak tried three times, but each time Balaam blessed Israel. Finally, Balaam spoke of a future King, Jesus, who would be mightier than any ruler. And guess what? Jesus wants to be king of your heart too. Join us next time to see what happens as the Children of Israel finally reach the Promised Land.
