When two of Jesus’ followers walked to Emmaus, they were joined by Jesus Himself, though they didn’t recognize Him immediately. Jesus explained to them how all the stories in the Bible were actually about Him. It wasn’t until they shared a meal and Jesus broke bread that they finally recognized Him. This moment teaches us that sometimes, we need to look deeper into our hearts to truly understand God’s stories and messages. The Bible is a beautiful collection of stories that all point to Jesus, His love, and His plan for us. We learn that understanding these stories can sometimes take time and reflection, much like putting together a puzzle piece by piece.
