Genesis 31:21
Ever been in a chase, like a game of tag? Being the chaser feels empowering, but being chased is intense! Now, imagine that same feeling, not in a game, but in real life. That's what Jacob experienced in today's story. God told Jacob to leave his relatives and go back home, which worried his uncle Laban. Laban worshipped false gods and didn't want to lose the blessings Jacob brought. So, when Jacob left secretly, Laban chased after him. Jacob must have been terrified. But did he really need to be? No, because God was on his side. Despite the fear, God had always protected Jacob. When Laban caught up, God intervened through a dream, warning Laban not to harm Jacob. So, no matter the challenges or fears, remember that you're not alone. Jesus is by your side. Stay tuned for an intriguing story in the next episode: a wrestling match with God!
