In our last story, we learned about the story of the Pasover and God’s people finally able to leave Egypt. In this story we will learn about the dramatic escape from Egypt through the Red Sea crosing, as inspired by the book of Exodus.
"Manna" might sound funny, but its meaning is even funnier - in Hebrew, it's like calling something " what is it?" They didn't know what it was, but they knew it was their lifeline. Just like how the Israelites didn't fully know God until He rescued them from Egypt. He showed them they could trust Him. Remember the Red Sea? God split it apart, like a zipper, to save them from Pharaoh's army. God can do anything - even make water obey His voice. But after this miracle, they complained about water and food. God provided but with tests. Daily manna taught them to trust God's provision, while the Sabbath taught them to rest and worship, showing they can rely on God even when they can't do it themselves. Just like the Israelites, remember that God will provide for your needs. Even in the hardest situations, He'll make a way. Trust Him completely.
