God Provides Quail

God Provides Quail

In our last story, we learned about how God cares about obedience and proper worship. In this story, we pick back up with the Israelites wandering the desert and their complaint about food, as inspired by the book of Numbers.

Numbers 11:17
Ever been around constant complainers? Moses and God didn't like that either, and the Israelites were definitely cranky complainers. No matter Moses or God's provisions, nothing was good enough for them. They even missed being slaves in Egypt and complained about the food. God had enough too. He had Moses choose 70 leaders to help him, and He shared His Spirit with them, giving extra wisdom. God provided quail, tons of it, to show that He could meet their needs. Complaining makes you unhappy, so be thankful instead. Look around for things to thank God for – there are many!
