2 Kings 17:13-14
Despite God's faithfulness and numerous warnings through prophets, the Israelites repeatedly strayed from Him. Their disobedience, following evil kings and false gods, led to dire consequences. God, although capable of compelling obedience, values the free will of His children, allowing them to face the outcomes of their choices. Consequences, positive or negative, follow decisions. If the Israelites had chosen obedience, their story might have been vastly different. Similarly, when we err, consequences teach us to make better choices, emphasizing the importance of honoring God. Opting for God's way proves wiser and yields better outcomes.
