1 Kings 22:13-14
King Ahab, driven by pride, sought to reclaim lost land and enlisted King Jehoshaphat's aid. Amidst deceitful court prophets, Jehoshaphat insisted on consulting a true prophet of the Lord—Micaiah. Unfazed by Ahab's displeasure, Micaiah foretold Ahab's demise if he pursued the battle. Ahab, the ultimate pretender, attempted to outsmart God by disguising himself in battle. However, divine justice prevailed. An errant arrow found its mark, and Ahab met his prophesied end. Ahab's tale serves as a warning, illustrating the consequences of sinful choices. Just as King Jehoshaphat discerned true prophets, we must discern right from wrong.
