Genesis 45:4-5
Joseph's story seemed far from happy for a while. When he revealed his identity to his brothers, they were scared. They knew they'd wronged him by selling him into slavery. Yet, Joseph's love prevailed. He forgave them, telling them God turned their evil intentions into good, saving many lives. Just as God transformed Joseph's broken life into joy, He can do the same for us. Joseph realized God's plan was always in control, working even through the bad parts. Jacob, Joseph's father, was overjoyed to reunite with his son in Egypt, where Joseph held a high position. Their emotional reunion marked a happy ending. God loves happy endings too. He promised an ultimate one for us – a future with Him, devoid of pain and tears, where we'll be forever united.
