2 Samuel 5:3
After 15 years of challenges and adventures, David was finally crowned king at 30. He'd come a long way since being anointed by Samuel at 15. God had been preparing him for this big responsibility. People were thrilled to have David as their king because he was an exceptional leader. David also understood that the Kingdom belonged to God, not himself. He was humble, giving credit to God for good things and remaining faithful during tough times. You can be a leader like David, even if you're younger. Jesus taught that true greatness comes from serving others and having a gentle, quiet spirit.
