Pharaoh Says “No!”

In our last story, we learned about how Moses and Aaron were united and the Lord gave the people signs through Moses and he began to lead the Israelites. In this story, we will learn how Moses and Aaron are going to challenge Pharaoh to let their people go, as inspired by the book of Exodus.

Exodus 5:2
The Israelites are struggling under Pharaoh's harsh rule, feeling defeated. 400 years earlier, God had promised Jacob that He'd make his family a great nation in Egypt and then bring them out. That promise was coming true; Jacob's descendants had multiplied significantly. Moses and Aaron approached Pharaoh to ask for the Israelites' release, but Pharaoh, believing in false gods, refused. He saw himself as powerful, dismissing the true God. Yet, the Great I Am—the creator, protector, provider, and more—was the one in control, not Pharaoh.
