Rahab and the Spies

Joshua 2:11
Once more, the Israelites stood near Canaan's border. Spies ventured into the Promised Land, but unlike 40 years prior, this time was different. Now, spies in Jericho met Rahab, a Canaanite. She revealed the truth—Canaanites feared Israel's God. Rahab knew of His power, the Red Sea parting, and victories. What irony! If Israel had only believed before, their journey would have been easier, but God gave them another chance. The spies saw something crucial. Rahab, an unlikely hero, believed in God. Despite her reputation, she helped them escape. She sought their protection in return. Rahab's story is vital. She wasn't Hebrew, didn't know the Tabernacle, yet believed stronger than anyone. Like her, if you believe God can save you, He will, regardless of excuses.
