2 Samuel 2:28
David prayed to God when he was unsure about returning to Judah after Saul's death, and God guided him. Meanwhile, the war between David's house and Saul's continued. In our lives, we're born with a "crown" on our heads, thinking mostly about ourselves. When we let Jesus rule our hearts, good things like love, joy, and patience flow. To live for God's Kingdom, we can ask for His help, follow His guidance in the Bible, and prioritize loving others over ourselves. David, chosen as King, was known as "a man after God's own heart." One day, we'll gather around God's throne, praising Him for sending His Kingdom to earth.
