Acts 2:2-4
Pentecost was a remarkable day when the Holy Spirit came to dwell in the followers of Jesus, symbolizing the birth of the Church. Just as fire hovered over the Tabernacle in the Old Testament, flames appeared over each believer’s head, showing that God now lives within us. This event fulfilled prophecies and showed that God’s presence is not confined to buildings but within His people. The disciples spoke many languages, miraculously understood by everyone, reversing the confusion at Babel and uniting people under a single divine purpose. This teaches us that God’s Church brings people together, shares one spirit, and spreads God’s love globally.
