1 Kings 13:18-19
The man of God, once determined to obey, takes a wrong turn. An old prophet in Bethel invites him to eat, but the man starts listening to the wrong voice, ignoring God's earlier message. As you grow older, more voices will influence you, making it crucial to discern which ones to heed. God's Word remains a timeless guide. Beware of voices offering tempting lies. Let's remember to listen to God's voice above all others. The story ends tragically, with the man of God killed by a lion. The old prophet, perhaps realizing the consequences of his advice, becomes more cautious about the voices he heeds.
