The Story of Joseph 2

Before this story, we learned about the story Judah and Tamar and before that how Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and his father Israel though Joseph was dead. Now, we will learn about how Joseph despite being a slave in Egypt for Potiphar, was a man of integrity and favored by the Lord, but was accused of wrongdoing by Potiphar’s wife and ended up in prison, inspired by the book of Genesis.

Genesis 39:2
"Joseph's life has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, hasn't it? His brothers' jealousy led to a terrible day where they threw him in a pit and sold him as a slave. But then, in Egypt, Joseph's honesty and hard work earned him a high position in Potiphar's house. That was a wonderful day. Joseph's belief in God's love and his dedication to honor Him, both on good days and bad, led to God blessing everything he did. He managed Potiphar's fields and animals so well that everything flourished. However, a new challenge arose. Potiphar's wife was attracted to Joseph and wanted to be with him romantically. But Joseph knew it was wrong and refused her advances, even when she lied about him. This act of integrity led to Joseph being falsely accused and thrown into jail. Despite this setback, God remained by Joseph's side. He always has a plan for each of us, even in tough times. So, when you face both good and bad days, remember that God is with you.
