Exodus 19:8
During the desert journey, God guided the Israelites with a cloud by day and fire by night. They reached Mount Sinai after two months, where God spoke to Moses. God told them they were His special treasure, just like Adam and Eve were in the beginning. He gave them Ten Commandments, teaching them how to live close to Him. The commandments included not worshiping other gods, keeping a Sabbath, and being kind to others. Moses revealed that God wanted a special tent called a Tabernacle, where He could meet with His people—a place of happiness like Eden. God's plan was to live with His special treasure forever. This Kingdom would be more wonderful than anything imaginable.
